The 3UK sim for Sailors and Seafarers works in 71 Countries. This sim lets you take a UK allowance of Unlimited UK texts and unlimited incoming txts and 12gb data to 71 destinations around the world. Use a data device or your unlocked smartphone, just like you would at home. Just set the APN and "Rock On". Use this sim on land or at sea when you are in range of land based towers.
It is important to note that while you are outside the UK and in the Go Roam around the world destinations, your max data usage per 30 days is 12GB, so get 2 sims if you need more data and are using it outside the UK. Visiting the UK; you can get unlimited data.

Three includes unlimited incoming text messages (SMS) and unlimited sms to EU numbers. SMS messages are green on iPhones. With iMessage you can send texts, photos, videos, locations and contacts to other iPhones, iPods and iPads. iMessages are Blue on iPhone. iMessage works the same way as sending a text. Your iPhone will check to see whether the recipient's using a compatible device. You'll be able to tell whether you're sending an iMessage or a text by the colour of the contacts name and the send button.
